​Originally from Vancouver Island, Mr. Andy Preto began his public school teaching career in 1999. He has taught students in Switzerland, Quebec, British Columbia, Haines Junction and Whitehorse. He has been a professional expedition trip leader for Canadian River Expeditions since 1997. Mr. Preto is passionate about experiential education and loves nothing more than a good science lesson where connections to real life issues can be discussed. 

Note:  The ES11 teacher will have their Wilderness Advanced First Aid Certificate, Class 2 drivers license, and other instructor certifications.
